Prototypes can be designed in 3D before they are manufactured to ensure that we have captured the concept you want. Brunel’s product is expertly pre-assembled in our 23,000 square foot manufacturing facility with state of the art equipment and then sent to each individual site after meeting the highest professional standards. Our determined and efficient installers never leave a job unfinished or until the client is completely satisfied. Quality control, safety, and integrity all remain vital throughout the entire process.

Acrylic Screen Guards to protect against COVID-19

Challenge

Brunel was approached by Harpers Tires and Calgary Fasteners & Tools, involving the design and construction of acrylic screen guards to protect staff and customers against their potential exposure to COVID-19 at the workplace. Although we have experience with acrylic work, this particular type of work is fairly new to most businesses in the industry, especially if we take into consideration that it needs to comply with newly established health regulations.

Solve

We are well aware that providing our clients with the ability to continue their operations with an added level of safety is essential to their financial success in these challenging times. We were able to start working on these new customer requests right away and developed the required expertise to adapt the protective screens to different types and sizes of counters. So far, we have developed acrylic screens / guards for businesses across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC such as for Calgary Fasteners & Tools, Harpers Tires, Co-op Grocery Stores, Tim Hortons and KFC.

The process is fairly straight forward and we customize according to each client needs. The protective screens for Tim Hortons were designed and built in place but for our other clients, measurements were taken, and we built them on our facilities and installed them respecting social distancing guidelines.

Result

  • Although this was a new type of request and design, our depth of knowledge and customization has allowed us to react quickly and favorably to these types of asks.
  • Our commitment to our client’s success is enabling us to build new relationships as we continue to receive new leads from the jobs we have completed.
